Why Equine Therapy?

Therapeutic horsemanship gives both physical and mental benefits to the special needs person. The slow, rocking movement of the horse stimulates nerves and muscles and helps with balance. Brushing the horse and other activities builds confidence and forms a unique bond between animal and human. Interested in Enrollment

A visit to the program is required prior to enrollment so that we may evaluate a student for riding. This also serves to introduce the potential rider to the surroundings so that they are comfortable when they come for lessons. Parents or guardians are given a tour of the facility, meet the instructors and staff and can ask questions.
